My 3 are hacked, the main Indexscript site is too. Looks like others are done too, been checking a few and their hacked aswell.
My IndexScript directory is running fine. BUT it was hacked several days ago and I was able to correct it. What is happening to your directories?
http://www.gettydirectory.com/ <-- one of mine, would you mind advising what you did to sort it please?
Mine didnt do exactly what your is doing. But after some searching around through files I discovered that my htaccess file had somehow been altered! I replaced that htaccess with the original and the site worked fine. It may not be the same with your case, but check your htaccess file. If you have cPanel it may also help you if you look at your error log.
kentuckyslone, thank you, i will check that out, i will do it tomorrow, the damage is already done so i will get to it tomorrow when im fresh and awake, im not going to let it get to me. thanks for your advice.
just replace the current sql DB with the one u have from your latest backup,. seems to me all they changed was the directory tittle
Thank you SasaVtec. Ive just been checking more sites running the script, they have hacked quite a few.
well seems he got mine http://www.adultconnection.info/ No biggie i have back ups for all mine.. maybe ill leave him thier since he likes hanging with the adults and gamblers thx for the heads up pipes, ill have silky or anon fix it later... thx malcolm
I donno what do these a__ h___ get when they hack the sites.. i mean instead of using there time and utilizing it into something constructive , all they end up is with hacking the monthly hard work of people and causing them serious damage!!! By the way how did it suddenly happened to so many different people and at the same time?
Im sorry to hear that he got yours too malcolm, i was going to try sorting them right now but il sort it tomorrow. khushal, yeah it seems loads are hit, kinda crappy seeing the main indexscript site hit too.
Thats what im wondering too, at hostgator just tried uploading database backup for one of them at cp, not sure if im doing anything wrong but replacing db hasn't worked.
Did your htaccess look normal? My directory was hacked a few days ago. But what happened to mine was that any page you went to was a 505 (I think it was) error.
I had a look at the htaccess and it appears normal, compared original to other and both exactly the same.
Ive posted at the indexscript forum and someone has before me too so hopefully we will get some advice on what to do.
True Ah well, im off to bed, almost midnight and i have no idea what to do yet hopefully there is a solution for it tomorrow by time im back online.
Thanks pipe. I think I will be more serious with the backups I am doing. Something serious might just happen. ( Although I do backups all the time )
