It looks like i want to have a blog, too.
    I have two questions
    1. is it better to create a blog within my domain such as: www.mydomain.com/blog/ or use some free service like blogspot?
    2. if it is better to have one withing the domain, which blog program to use?

    thanks

It's better to host your own. Even if you use blogspot, this is still possible if you tell it your ftp details. Then later if you change to using a local publishing software (Wordpress, MT, Mambo etc) then you can simply import your posts in.

As for which software to use. I prefer wordpress, it's simple - and I love the backend management of it.

Go with WordPress on your own domain from Day 1.

I started using Blogger.com and once I found WP I regretted my decision. WP is the best.

Just made the switch to wordpress for my tiny, tiny blog.

Question - For the DP option to put in the feed url, does it matter if I use wp-feed.php vs. wp-rss.php? I'm using wp-feed.php and nothing is showing but I assume it goes into a queue to be retrieved so hard to know if there's a problem or not.

<edit> NM. It seems to be displaying now :) </edit>

I'm not sure what your problem was, but I've never had to touch either of those files. Your feed is linked to at the bottom of your page and links to:

But seeing as you got it sorted out anyway, I'll shut up :)
