Here's a little trick I thought you should know...

To get listed fast in dmoz, contact and tell them you experience problems with their submission form.

Tell them you tried everything but the submission page keeps crashing everytime you click the submit button, etc. but stay polite!

Make sure to include your site details in the mail including description and email.

Sometimes you have to try a copple of times and sometimes they just ignore you but I managed to get 2 of my latest sites listed thanks to this *dumb trick* in less than 10 days.

It isn't new but it can work if you're lucky ;)

DMOZ isn't a 1 man operation so unless they take notes of what sites they list manually, I don't see how they could find out what sites have been listed manually and what sites are not

    So no stress ;)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was coincidence. I'll go out even further and suggest that the staff doesn't accept submissions via email.

I'll put on my Carnac the Magnificent hat and also guess that both of your sites were accepted in a Regional/World category?

Well I managed to get 2 site in there but of course you should have a little luck too. It's the guy on the other side that decides to list your site or not so...

And both sites are NOT listed as regional :)

Yes of course, that's why you shouldn't ask them to list your site. Just tell them the submission form isn't working for you. So you only *suggest* them to list your site manually.

Remember that this is only a trick that can work sometimes...I never said it does work always ;)

I am tired of DMOZ as i have decided not to submit my websites. I am waiting for 2 years of now but still waiting.

I think DMOZ editors are not interested in GOOD websites as my websites are having 3+ PR with good content.

I think we should not waste more time in talking about DMOZ!!

    Isn't it ??

    Why not!

    That would be good!
Maybe they finally change their way of dealing with submissions.

You have a funny way of being sarcastic :)
