Hi LeopardAt1, pleased to see that this is released, is it an installation by yourself only mod or can it be sold as self installation?

Because it is quite a mod, i fully understand if it can only be installed by yourself.

    Thanks,

Yeah, sorry, I was going to offer instructions but it requires a bit to get it up and running properly (a bit Perl, a bit Smarty, JS, and HTML, and previous experience in installing Perl scripts). I thought it'd be best to not offer any instructions and take the installation upon myself. Template integration is also not an easy task as well, if you didn't know where everything goes...one little wrong configuration may leave someone clueless on what to do next. I also realized since every template is different, theres real no step by step instructions I can really offer. To me its a, you can or you can't type of thing. Integrating it right so all the JS works can be a bit tricky.

I also want DirTracker.com (going to revamp this) to have all Authorized users of my system, that way anyone with the auto loader feature can submit and view any special deals (coupons). Not offering instructions will limit any wrongful distribution (its not fair for others to pay and others to get the same product for free)

I do hope everyone understands on why I came to this conclusion.

I don't really get it, the admin demo...my phpld directory will look like that? Where are all the other setting for my admin? Can I add different payment options via the admin panel, like more 1-year or 6-month options?

The approval thing is awesome btw.

I am kinda sad this is yet another 'must have' mod...it would be nice if phpld offered some good workable stuff like this right out of the box.

    thanks

    Hi,

Configuration is done through one single file.

The administration demo is a "secondary admin", not meant to replace your old one. Its only real purpose is to add/edit/del deep links and coupons. The manage links and approve links area is offered in case anyone feels like it can be better use then their main one.

So after you install this mod on a brand new installation of phpld v3.2 I will have a deep link mod, a coupon mod and your new secondary admin panel and payment page? Seems too good to be true!!

I understand that making of this mod is huge time of work but $60 is much too much. The same I would say about an0n´s Deep Link Mod. Poeple comon, self the script is only $25 and he has taken many much work time.
    Anyway, cool mod!

well i would say its worth it for $60 as this is a combination of all mods in 1 ....

now think about it ... offering permanent and regular ... << heard complaints about mhamdi's one ... and rob's one i dont know a quota

    coupon mod - $40 << cheapest i seen

multipe category mod - $15 << from dagre

deep link mod << free if you know wat you are doing and be called a QBC .... or pay $100 for rob. (which many do)

pay those separately and you will see ....

plus many more options in this mod ...

trust me.... the installation of this mod is not as easy as putting some codes in include/tables.php and editing your submit.tpl ...

this is a whole new mod with a secondary admin panel ..... this is more than huge installation ....

good job leopard .... i will be posting a blog at idk.in soon

But does this mod contain other mods ? So its not legal I think to sell someones else mods ?

All features are cool but still I know that LeopardAt1 will make good money self if he would sell it for $20, see on an0n, his mod is cool and everyone want it. I am sure he already earned at least $25 k from deep links mod, is that not the big part of money that dvduval earned with his phpld ? I am sure it is.
Anyway if you sell the mod for $20 you will get more buyers and you will earn that same amount of money, imho.

    Thanks for the replies.

SEOdir, just want to say I do respect your opinion.

Yep, it contains other mods as well. Some features have the same ideas, but not the same coding.

I was hoping people won't even try comparing my "mod" with an0ns deep links. The original purpose of me building this was to figure out a way to prevent so many unpaid submissions entering your phpLD admin area. For me to do this, I did it with my language of choice and by doing that, also allowed me to add a lot of other features that I thought people will find useful--for ex. if someone messes up on their info, they can actually click back and edit, rather then typing everything over again.

Anyhow, I try my best not to over advertise my mod or even plug myself in when theres numerous of threads where I can. I don't want to force anyone in purchasing my payment system. If you think $60 is pricey, then thats fine with me, and I understand.

    Cheers,
    Leopard

Some more questions. This mod includes the ability to send a newsletter to all people listed in the directory? How does it do that, please explain in detail.

Where do you set all the prices for the different links and deep links?

    thanks
