AdWords Editor slows down with big accounts?

My Adwords Editor (version 3.5.1) is just crawling and I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the size of the account I'm working on. Anyone experience a significant/measurable slow down in their AdWords Editor as their campaigns and ad groups have grown? Of course it could be my laptop.

Tends to be a little slower uploading/downloading with larger accounts but that's to be expected. I haven't noticed any performance issues with large accounts outside of that.

On a side note, the upload today seems exceptionally slow.

My uploads have been slow. I have 1 GB of RAM and 3.2 GHz.

Don't worry, you're not alone. I only have 5 campaigns with probably 200 Adgroups and 10,000s keywords, and it lags like 2-3s each time I make a small change.

But its such a HUGE time saver I couldn't care less anyway

I'm with you. I have the 2-3 second delay as well, but I don't know what I would do without it. Hopefully I can free up some resources for it. We'll see.

I find in the afternoons (EST) that it has been somewhat slow. I'm willing to deal when comparing this tool to others or the others lack of tools

I hate the fact that it takes for ever to upload changes (especially because I only use editor for big changes). Furthermore it sucks that there's always error messages when simultaniously using browser based adwords...

I love the program though. It saves me so much time...

I have been doing some large uploads (20,000+ keywords) and it absolutely slows to a crawl.

Same here... very slow.

Used to be fine even with large accounts, but now it just got so much slower... I tihnk it's connected with Google somewhow... dunno... I didn't have problems with other editor versions... And uploading womething takes me like 3 minutes... even a smallest change... but downloading is a pain... especially the whole account... always drops network errors... (just posted on that in other thread).
