    Hello,
here is a site where you are able to convert that characters into puny code, after that you need to register puny code to get the domain working by going to address ©.com. For example, if you want to register ©.com you need to register domain: xn--gba.com (already registered)

    Here is the site:
    http://www.nameisp.com/puny.asp

    Just for fun :)

    P.S. Puny code info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punycode

Here are characters that you can use:

    ¢¡£¤¥¦§¨©ª¬«®¯°±²³´µ¶·¸¹º»¼½¾¿ÂÃÄÅÆÐ×ØÝÞßæðõþ
    〄々〆〇〉〈《》「」『』【】〒〓〔〕〕〖〘〙〗〘〲〠〷〶

And many more on the site above.

Maybe someone will use it :p

Imagine what a pain in the ass that would be for your visitors to type every time they wanted to come to your site though.

You can register IDN domains at domainsite.com, I have registered lots of IDN domains with them.

You don't need to go to a conversion site. The lastest browsers like IE7 and Firefox 2.0 have built in IDN support. Just enter the IDN name into the address bar & press enter to see the punycode & go to the site.

Yeah, you can use characters like that, but to be honest it would be a pain in the a*s to type in a load of different characters using ALT codes.
It works though, but I'm not sure if it will be too popular.

It will be popular in countries that don't use an English keyboard - Mexico, China etc..
