How would I grab articles from a website's RSS and print it on my website? I want to build a collection of RSS feeds that relate to a certain subject. How would I do this?
You would need to parse the RSS feed. There should be examples on the web if you search for the name of the language you're coding in and XML parsing. If you're using PHP, you may find this tutorial useful: http://www.sitepoint.com/article/php-xml-parsing-rss-1-0
Its simple to call XML feed. You have to use include class in you PHP page to include the feed, send me PM and i will send you more details
I'm not so good with dynamic code, and I can't seem to understand this stuff. Can someone offer some more insight? I PM'ed you, jagan.
I'm trying to make sense of it myself, how would I assign classes to the title tags and description, etc? Also, how would I limit the number of articles it displays to five?
I have replied the PM with some details, I hope that can help you, If not send me the requested details as i have written in PM
Hi I fired up a feed on mysite this week. Took about 3 hours from start to finish. Used CARP - very customisable - seems to work fine and it has a free version - which I used. http://www.geckotribe.com/rss/carp/ Hope this helps Brian http://www.bestrealincome.com
