Is submission Normal or a little less below average?

There seems to be a little less than average submission for reviews in my directories during last few days.

I think people are just apprehensive to submit to directories before the PR snapshot.


Please share your views.

i usually see a slow down in submissions when its coming up to as pr update even though i think its still 2-3 weeks away if not longer

 

Yep the submissions are lower than the normal these days..
Hope its good after the PR update

btw free directory is receiving the same no. of submissions as regular

 

We have had the July 4th Holidays any variable at this time is fully understood

 

I'm doing the submissions and editing reviews for The Orange Pages and submissions over the past 2 months are through the roof. Could it be the owners have a few tricks up thier sleeves?

submissions have been great during last two months. I am trying to learn about last 3/4 days-- because it has been so good previously.
I think Pete is correct -- the biggest submitters have been on holidays --for 4th July.

 

submissions are normal for me, but then PR update is pretty near so holding back is a good idea! but then after the pr update the rates will also go high in most directories! hope submitters are thinking about this point too

And you are correct-- June has been a monster month -- in terms of directory revenue and submissions.

 

Sorry mate, was including last few days, had so many was worrying I was being spammed, maybe that's not the case then which is cool as I frickin hate chargebacks.

 

Sometimes people are also buying much strong links as they can to obtain fast the PR just before PR update

 

Im expecting thousands of submissions after the PR update when i get a PR6 - ok maybe im expecting a little too much!

 

it's up for my directories. I think it's the opposite. More people probably want to submit links before the coming update. July has been pretty good compared to June for me.

 

ive seen pretty good amount of submissions on my 2 directories over the past 2 weeks, even questions and a contract regarding bulk submissions.

 

Constant traffic for me

 

Maybe people wait for the PR update to take place and then start submitting again.
Also we have to think that many of them could be on vacation since it is summer time....

 

Vacation is not for SEO.
SEO require constant work

 

About normal or if anything above normal. More traffic = more submissions.
