Dog Training Site - $400+ per month income

    Url: www.free-dog-training.info

Income: $400+ per month in adsense.

    Description:
This site is a free dog training resource site. It contains information on dog training and includes 120 dog training articles plus 44 dog related jokes. A random article is displayed on the main page each time the page is loaded. This gives the site some different content which the search engines love to see. A joke of the day can also be viewed. Everything is fully automatic and there is nothing to do with the site.

All of the articles were imported from goarticles.com. The site includes a special import engine that will automatically place the article in the article database when you email the article.

The site also includes a RSS feed that will display the last 20 articles added to the site. This rss feed has been submitted to all of the major rss directories and is presently being viewed many many rss readers.

I do use google adwords to promote this site with 0.05 bids. I spend about $100 per month in advertising and that still leaves an average of about $300 per month profit after expenses. The site does receive natural traffic and advertising is not necessary, but you will not make as big as a profit with advertising.

This site will only be sold once. It is not a Turnkey Site.

I will assist the buyer in moving the hosting account and domain name. The buyer can leave the site on my server for only $2.99 per month.

I just looked at todays stats. It has earned 8.11 so far today. Please note: Adsense does not report in real time so this info is probably a few hours old.

    Nice site! :)
I notice it doesnt have great results in google, is that because they are duplicate articles or you never spent much time on SEO?

I am a little confused, the stats say you get between 120 and 220 visitors a day for October yet on some days you are getting over 100 clicks?

Yeah,,, That's what I was thinking...

Based on the stats you provided, 1 unique visitor view about 10 pages and 1 out of 2 unique visitor click on ad??

Are you sure you selected right channel???

I have spoken with adsense and they told me I was not permitted to generate the adsense reports the way that I did. So I ran the reports the way adsense instructed me to and blanked out the required areas. I have replaced the two adsense image files. I am not permitted by adsense to show any other adsense information.

In the previous report I combined all of the channels. This report will show 3 seperate dog channels. I have a different channel for a different ad type. I used this to determine which types of ads where most effective. The position of the ads now are the most effective.

    Softstor,

I'd like to bid on this site, but the type of channel you specified makes people nervous, because it isn't controlled by the domain. You could have it spread across multiple domains, and we'd have no way of telling. The sad part is you could have initiated a channel for the url as well, without impeeding your desire to get more specific results... meaning both types of channels can work at the same time...

Are you including the adwords keyword list?

I did some experiments on adwords with all the keywords I could find and the minimum bid was 0.10 on all.

I have a lot of keywords and I will include them with the sale. Actually the keyword list and ad text is probably worth more money than the website.

Every keyword that I am using is priced at $0.05. I will list a few showing on my adwords report for today:

    dog training
    Impressions:347

    train my dog
    Impressions: 27

    free dog training
    Impressions: 15

I ran the report the way the adsense tech support person told me today. He also mentioned it would violate adsense rules to publicsize any other information.

How do you want me to run the report?

You need to first create a channel specific to the url...

    https://www.google.com/adsense/channel-edit

It's at the top, and is specific to the url. Irregardless of what types of other channels you run, this specific channel will only track beneath the url you specify. Tomorrow or the next you should be able to provide a report for that url channel providing better assurance to all of us that you really have that good of a c/t rate. You can still white out or blacken in the same columns that your AdSense person has directed you to. The report will only go back as far as when you first created this channel.

I would also post the traffic stats for the same days from your internal reports. Those two items should cancel out anyone's concerns about traffic and the level of c/t.

I'd also consider providing a copy of the referrer reports. For me this is less of an issue, because I can pump as much traffic at the site as the next person, but there may be some bidding, who don't have the ready made traffic funnel.

Thanks for the info. I have just created the url channel. The downside is that this new channel will not be able to pick up adsense revenue from the past. On Friday, I will post the earnings for Thursday with this new url channel. Its not a great test, But it will show you what this site made on Thursday.

The click through rate on the channel dog3 is about 25% for both Sept/Oct. Which position is this on the page? Maybe I suck, but I don't have any sections on any of my sites that get a 1 in 4 click-through rate, so I'm curious if you have any more information on that channel.

There are specialty sites that average well over 50% even close to 100% because they have visitors who click more than one ad. Of course that isn't "normal" - but 25% isn't unusual at all. As with any site, I would want to see proof before I bought it.
