so i regged two domains last week. after 3 days of the domains not pointing where i wanted them to, i called and asked wtf was up. they tell me thoes domains are not avalible to be registered, even tho they indeed let me register them and pay for them. so im like ok how about a refund, they agree.

then i see they transferred the refund to my "registerfly.com account"
so back on the phone, 30min of hold time, on long distance. so i tell them blah blah transfer the money to my account where it came from, k thnx.

now i go to my online banking and see not only is my refund still not there, but now they decided i needed some hosting to go with my non registerable domains. so now they are charging me for hosting and so far two domains at $17 each.

so now back to the phone, still no word on my refund. as far as the hosting charge goes the guy tells me i will need to fax them a copy of the proof that it has actually been charged because they dont show anything in their computers. then after i fax that i will need to call the billing department. we all know registerfly is atleast a 30min hold time, on long distance.

so im like, "how about i just do a charge back?". the guy tells me "well then we will have to freeze all of your domains and your account and you dont want do you?"

WOW. i must get my domains away from this joke of a company, but i dont know much about transferring a domain because i have never done it. i use eurodns.com and godaddy.com and i will move my registerfly domains to one of thoes. my question is this, during the transfer of my domains will there be any downtime? or will things just go on as normal?

Sorry to hear about what happened. :( That was nasty of them to do.

There will probably be a few minutes downtime when you transfer domain names, but considering your situation, I guess it will be better. Then after you transfer out your names, do a chargeback for those two domains.
