Smart pricing kills incomes of foreign websites

I run some Polish websites and their income was hit so bad by smart pricing that on one of them I get ca. $0.01 per click. The ads on the sites are mostly from English online stores so no wonder nobody's buying anything actually.

It's not that bad on my German sites though since they get a lot of German ads.

What is your experience about that?

Sounds like smart pricing is working correctly in your case. You don't think advertisers should pay you for irrelevant traffic do you?

I suggest if it is a problem with some of your sites, you find alternative means of advertising those pages.

Expecting Adsense to be the best source of revenue on every page on every site on the internet is not reasonable.

Yes, it's working quite good :)

Actually there is nothing like AdSense or CJ around in Poland. There might be a few stores who would pay me a few % off the sales, but they only pay to Polish bank accounts - and I don't own any. That's why I have to stick with Google :)

If there's few polish ads, and no other real alternative then it's problably not the best site to try and monetize at present - or you need to look for more creative ways of monetizing the site (like approaching Polish businesses directly).
