Dear members, My website has a nice sitemap in XML format and it is still valid. In the webmaster central Google says the last time it visited it was on May 15th. In my opinion this is very strange! Two weeks ago my website is blacklisted....i really have no idea how this could happen! There are no doorway-pages, the website is over 6 years old and there are updates every week! I know the site is blacklisted because the site:website.com isn't giving any results in two weeks now. Beside the fact that it's blacklisted, i got no clue why Google isn't crawling my pages anymore since May 15th. Is there anyone who has the same problem or knows what to do about it? I files a reinclusion reuqest about 1,5 week ago, but still nothing changed. I'm desperate....please help! Thank you very much. Chees, - Raymond
I had the same problem with one opf my blogs and it did not get any visit for four months. I tried everything I could and finally it appeared back in the results and I checked Google and they crawled the site. I am not sure what the heck was going on but now they do not crawl as often as they use to. Try putting the site in your signature here and see if it gets crawled.
It can be very difficult to say what the problem is without providing the URL. Even with the URL it could be still difficult to figure out why.
If banned, the PR will go on next export as May was after the last one in Apr sometime. Google sometimes dishes out these bans as I have an articles site which I brought with the same problem . Was PR4 when I brought it, started to remove alot of junk links and link exchanges from it and then it was banned. This was in January and still no crawl to date
Facing a similar problem with some of my websites, their bans are very arbitary. Just concentrate on other sources of traffic and real users who matter
