I found an interesting site here: http://www.millionpixelclick.com I paste some contents to everyone: On MillionPixelClick.com you can place an image and link to your website and get more clicks and visitors for it. Your pixels will be visible for at least 5 years. Pixels on MillionPixelClick.com are available in 100 pixel 'blocks', with each block measuring 10x10 pixels. You will see the homepage is divided into 10,000 of these blocks. Each 10x10 block costs US$50, equating to a cost of $0.5 per pixel. You can buy as many blocks of pixels as you like, as long as there are some available. How about this idea?
The original million pixel site was milliondollarhomepage.com, which became very popular because of the novelty of it I suppose. It got a lot of media coverage and a lot (including the site you just mentioned) of copycat sites have been made. It's only a fad though, I suspect that these type of sites will have no business in a few months.
Lol, you're making it sound like it was your original idea Tons of MDH clones are popping up everyday, but I doubt if any of them would even come close to the success of MDH.
Im pretty sure this wasnt to tell us about a new idea of advertising, but yes it still is advertising. This guy is only telling us about his site which is apart of the 10,000's like it with the revenue to speak of. Goodluck
What an awesome idea that I've never heard of before. ~Leonard Shelby~ "If we talk for too long, I'll forget how we started. Next time I see you, I'm not gonna remember this conversation. I don't even know if I've met you before."
Yeah these sites are mesmerising me, I dont know what it is about them, I know its all adverts,, theres so many of them as well, ones for 50c 25c and even free, or ones for particular countries, or themes, even ebay pixels and paypal pixels ??? But I wouldnt say its a fad, it could run for a while if people come up with new twists like http://www.freemillionpixelhomepage.com The gut is going to put the entire millio bucks on red or black on a roulette wheel, and if it wins hes gives all the advertisers their money back, if it loses he gets nothing, but hes already up to $32,000
