150 unique visitors...... 200 Clicks... Will it get me a ban?

    Hi,

Am happy that I got 150 unique visitors to my site, but littled worried that i got 200 clicks. Because atleast 50 of them must have clicked the ads 2 times which makes 200 clicks.

Will this get me a ban?

I think the ads are so relevant to my visitors which makes them to do so. I have over 10 pages with that website.

But i have 700 impression for those 200 clicks. Can you please tell me what to do in this situation?

    Thanks.

What is usual for your site? Is this way out of the ordinary? If so, maybe your best idea would be to email Google Adsense and express your concern.

It does seem a high number of clicks for the number of visitors, especially with very few pages, but who knows... different niches, at different times, can get all sorts of results!

    lol
The best thing is to email them about mentioning this suspicious thing.
They will not ban you but they can if you don't email them and they found something wrong. :)

You should email them before they find out on their own, and then you look suspicious for not alerting them..

I agree that you should contact them, it shows that you are monitoring your site for suspicious activity.

Email Google. It is very unlikely that that many people clicked on multiple ads. The only possible explanation is someone click bombed your site.

Is this in one day or over a period? If it is consistant rate of clicks per impression over the period it is no need for concern. If this was just an odd day shoot off an email, it can't do any harm.

They will not ban you because you email them. Their records will show what is going on, so the fact that you contact them puts you in a better light. Some people who have contacted them about these kind of things have been banned, but I'm fairly sure it's because of the clicks/suspicious activity (which Google is already aware of anyway), not because they contacted them. Sometimes, in referring back to the fact they had been concerned and in contact about it has got the ban removed- sometimes not.

I guess some people try to con them by clicking their own ads/or having a friend do it, and then "reporting suspicious activity" to get away with it.

So, your best bet is probably to contact them if you are concerned.

recently Google has announced that we can track accident clicks in ads by webmasters and no need to write to us if it is a one off thing. They track clicks and .. Sorry I clicked my ad while reviewing.

If the clicks have originated at the visitors end, you are very safe and just keep minting the profit. Its all valid.
