Google Mobile Getting Better

Google is supposed to be introducing software today, but I haven't seen it or heard anything else about it yet...

For instance, users won't have to type in their location before getting directions to a specific location, as long as their phone has Global Positioning System, or GPS, capabilities, said Deep Nishar, a director of Google's mobile products.

Google doesn't plan to display ads alongside its mobile maps.

I dont think there is enough space for that :P

It's pretty cool... Using it on a RAZR V3. Would be cooler if my cellphone had a GPS, but it's still cool nonetheless. Just like Google Maps... can flip between maps, satellite, and you can search and it plots the location on the map, etc.
