Hey Everyone, The cheapest I've found is $7/year for a domain name. Does anyone know of anyone selling them for cheaper than that? I appreciate it. -Tao
Depends on the extension. Godaddy is selling .info for 99 cents right now. .com $7/year isn't bad. -Jason
try Yahoo small business domain, http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/domains/ $1.99 only for the first domain and will be end on this month.
just want to buy .com.net cheap with no coupons and no ads and no gimicks 1+1 is 5.99 for new or renew.are they the best?no they don't have to be they are cheaper . but you get free privacy which is extra at many tricky places and they have sedo parking.
Thanks everybody, I think I'm gonna go with the NetFirms. You have to buy some other service from GoDaddy to get the deals which make it a non-deal.
i am also a customer of godaddy but he is asking about cheap domains and godaddy is offering $8.99/year a domain. well domain.yahoo.com is offering a dot com domain just in $1.99/year
Only for the first year! Next one will be 8 or 9$ check estdomains.com for cheap domains, also moniker.com
Do Not get sucked into any of the following. You will regret it later. 1&1, Yahoo and to a lesser extent Netfirms.
Please before open the new thread use Search Tool. Your question's answer is : You can find 4,95 at netfirms. Also if you purchase netfirms max package ( 10$ ) you can register 2 domain and hosting package for one year. Features : http://www.netfirms.com/max
Thanks, I did use the search tool and everything I found the deals had expired or weren't cheaper than I had already found.
I would suggest namecheap or godaddy. They are the best. It is around 9 buck for a domain but off course, you can use coupon. Yahoo is not a good option man. I have a bad experience with them few years ago. The story begin: I receive a reminder from the "real provider", ask me to renew my domain as soon as possible. I call the bank and the operator told me that yahoo already charge my credit card. I call yahoo and finally solve the case. The phone bill even more expensive than the domain renewal fee man. Yahoo is domain reseller.
I bought few domains from http://domainsarefree.com for $3.99 but there is a catch. They opted me without warning to buy something for $30. I didn't had cash so they couldn't bill me, but they send opt-out with link to unsubscribing to $30 something. But if you want cheapest and want a little risk then you have it. Btw the renewal is $8.99.
Dont forget to work with professional and reliable firms. Cheap is not everything. Security and reliable more important than cheap item.
I agree with the last comment wholeheartedly. There are a number of aspects to purchasing and using a domain name that are just as important as price. I have used a number of services but now stick with Yahoo because of the really easy to use domain name control panel. But your question was the "cheapest" . . . that'd be ipowerweb.com at $6.50 per year.
