    Hi everybody,

Can somebody confirm the following situation:

I have created an Adword campaign. I didn't bid a big amount. In fact, all my keywords are in the "inactive" state, right now. However, even if it's inactive, does my ADS should show anyway?....or aren't they supposed to show in any case?

    thx,

Your keywords being inactive is a sign that your bids are too low, your ad CTR is too low, or your landing page quality is poor.

Depending upon your segment, the minimum bid needed to make your bids inactive should be less than $5.00. If your being asked to bid exactly $5.00 or exactly $10.00, than you should redesign your campaign or your landing page.

Finally, if your keywords are inactive, that means that none of your ads should show.

Your keywords are inactive, right? That means that they will not trigger any impressions at all.

Actually, they will still trigger impressions, possibly by the thousands, on the content network, so you can still get clicks (and pay for them!) with all inactive keywords.

But those clicks aren't as good.

We're not talking about the Content Network.

It should also be noted that your quality score changes dynamically several times a day and can drop your minimum bids to an amount lower than what you are bidding. This will trigger your ads.

If you want to pause them, pause them.

I was wondering this question, because even inactive, I see clicks and impressions...how come I still paying if its inactive?

As LongHaul said, it could be because of the content network?
