I have pasted code on two sites now and both show what appears to be the same one visitor in the Virginia Region. I am in Texas. Could it be Earthlink facilities are in Virginia?

    Is it you?

It is... your IP is only traceable to the United States, so it puts you as Washington DC generically.

He he, I do not know. Edited my above post to reflect my confusion. Let me dial in on different ISP and see if it changes.

    Shannon

Thanks Shawn. I am feeling a little lonely like the maytag repairman.

Neat toy. Off to try to find a site where I won't be so lonely.

lorien - I think I figured it out... try it now. It was trying to show visitors for forums.digitalpoint.com, but had no data to plot.

Smyrl - see previous post (I edited it).

It works fine for me in FireFox and my little balloon location was actually pretty accurate <g>. This is pretty cool. I could see this would be a great feature for many interactive sites.

Yeah... I didn't add the tracking code (the image) to the first post (but it's there now), so it was trying to plot 0 points and didn't like it. :) I added an additional check that if there is no data to plot, it will fallback to www.digitalpoint.com data.

So its kinda gathering data right now. Its not showing visitors that came and went before the map went up?

I'm waiting for that first antarctica visitor, personally :)
