Hi DPers, I have written a free AdSense eBook in pdf format. It's full of useful info. Feel free to check it out the AdSense Mint @ http://www.free-adsense-ebook.com
I recommend it! Immediately seen 5000% increase in CTR and revenue! I don't have to work anymore starting next month.
For those curious, I've downloaded this free book and taken a look at it. PDF file, naturally. 29 pages, split into these parts: Introduction Part 1: Finding a niche market Part 2: Assessing the competition Part 3: Creating the site Part 4: Link building Part 5: AdSense implementation Lots of whitespace between paragraphs, large margins. Affiliate links to WordTracker, etc. Some kind of rebranding program that lets you sell the otherwise-free e-book. Nothing radical. Some dubious stuff, like using RSS to get content. Big emphasis on using images near ads to increase CTR.
Oh, alright, I removed the link. But you allow free distribution of the book, after all. Is my face punchable? Good to know. I was younger in that picture.
At least the price is right for this book, much better than paying $22 for a single page like that other book we talked about before. I must admit, though, that I don't like the recommendation to use RSS for content. I also wish you were up front about the fact that you're collecting names for your mailing list. I guess it's implicit, but I like being told it explicitly. Good luck with your venture. There are certainly a lot of e-books floating around now.
My book's been out since June, which is relatively new for printed books, yes. It's been doing well, I've gotten some good reviews up on Amazon. It's not really of interest to most DPers, it's aimed at true newbies (but if you know someone who wants to learn more and you don't want to sit down and explain it all to them... ). One thing about your book: did you use a newer version of Adobe to create it? It gave me a warning when I loaded it into Adobe Reader 6 (yes, I'm behind the times) and the links don't seem to work. You might want to fix that...
Yes I did, I used Acrobat 7.0.... Nobody else seems to have said anything about broken links though and i do get quite a lot of feedback. Mystery?!? Good luck with your book. Was it straightforward getting it printed etc..
Well, I definitely have problems with it. You might want to check it out. Maybe it's just me. Printing the book was really easy... the publisher arranged everything!
Using only RSS for content doesn't lead to good results. I've tried it but did a lot better when I wrote a few pages of my own content.
Just an FYI. I got broken links and the error message also. I'm going to print out the book and read it during my lunch break. Are you being sarcastic? Did it really give you this much increase?
Well, regardless of who made it, where it came from, if it was posted here before, how much white space between the paragraphs, etc. The book seems to have some great info. It may be old news for other webmasters, but I found it a great concise reading of how to make good money with the Adsense program. Thanks for posting it!
Can anybody PM me a direct link for download? You know... do not want to leave my email address (even unneeded one) on such resources that seem to be created ONLY for collecting emails. Thanks.
