Ok, I'm going out on a bit of a limb here, considering how many false "it's starting" and "it's over" threads we already have. But I think it really is starting now, Nov 3, 10:30pm eastern time (maybe started a few hours ago). Some of my long suffering sites that were slaughtered back in Sept are jumping up hundreds of serps on a couple of dc's. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'm not starting another "false start" thread! Let the games begin!!! I can only go up from were things have been the last two months.
On a hand full of DCs I have made it back to the first page on my keyworks. Things are looking better.
Did you mean to search for Serbs? I suspect you mean positions in the "serps". SERP = Search Engine Results Page I hate that term actually...
Have you seen this? Is Jagger 3 over? And this one: Jagger 3 hasn't started yet. Whatever else you can say about Google, when Google talks people listen (and jump off tall buildings)... There was a Yahoo update not too long ago. Did anyone even notice?
Everyone gets crazy about PR updates which do show an unusually high flux in the serps around that time. But FYI google changes and updates their SERPs quite often.
You don't say. Wow that's amazing. Get real, since the majority of us are in the webmastering business don't you think we might know that. As fryman said this isn't the normal daily flux. And I've never seen any flux around the time of PR updates - nor do I ever expect to.
Christopher - It helps to post which datacenters you are seeing "new" results on. There have been so many reverted datacenters over the last few days, you may just be seeing old results. PS. I look forward to the "real real jagger" thread followed by the "original real real jagger" thread
It's weird, using the API not a single one of my keywords changed positions...First time since Sept 22nd
I'm seeing changes on 64.233.189.104 & 66.102.7.104, though the results did not propogate to any other dc's overnight
And then the analysis threads when it's all over: "Jagger: The wild speculation thread" "Jagger: The rumors", "Jagger: The truth" "Jagger: The real truth", "Jagger: What really happened" and the inevitable ( 3 months from now), "Jagger: What are you people talking about?".
I just ran a quick mcdar check and saw some very new serps for my primary keywords on 216.239.53.99 - not sure if it is jagger related but I like what I see sofar
