Yahoo! Search to Update Tonight

Just caught this on the Yahoo Search Blog

My MSN rankings seemed to have improved along with my Yahoo rankings today. I don't know if they have anything to do with each other.

 

What a crappy update. It makes Jagger look good.

 

Yahoo! really is going backwards.

 

Ouch, now I know what people that got hit by jagger feel like

Main keyword got bumped from #2 to #8... and I am sure this will bring a traffic drop tomorrow

 

Our sites are all sitting indexed but not cached, kinda odd what Yahoo is doing.

 

Yahoo is flushing themselves. Every update gets less relevent.

 

as my site is in the eight hundreds, an up or down has yet to matter..

 

I haven't seen any shifts with my sites. Was there really an update? I still see lots of crap in the results.

This is a weird update..... are they doing what Google does and putting websites with age up higher in the SERPS now???

My newer sites lost SERPS where my clients sites that have been around for a while gained.

 

Another se to sit and watch as my sites go bye-bye.
I'll let this one sit a week or so and then take a look. Looks like aged links and sites but who knows yet. Maybe they have a Google spy and are doing a copy cat deal?

 

a 404 page took over my primary kw spot. These results aren't that great so far.

 

I got excited for some progress on few new sites, then I noticed like 20 of my old site lost rankings

mostly this makes me want to sell as many links and make as many datafeed spam sites as possible,

 

Not much for an improvement.

 

I dont see any change. Arent there any datacenters for yahoo to check SERPS.

 

Went from #3 to #1 for a search term. Yippy!

 

and for the 10th month in a row no yahoo traffic
ya yahoo....

 

Now I am seeing a very new site I am doing SEO for, has been dropped. Thanks alot Yahoo!
