I logged in to view my reports and got this message:

” Please note that the previous Google Analytics interface will no longer be accessible as of July 18th.”

Quick blog post about it with screenshot:

What is everyone's opinion? Which version do you prefer? For me I guess I'm a creature of habit, the old version still gets most of my usage.

I'm not very good with the new one either, however... the more I tinker with it, the easier (and more logical) it gets.

The prior one 'seemed' like the better one for a while, but it's slowly fading in my memory....

It's also mentioned in the latest googleblog with the analytics changes. The release notes are here

I thought this was a beta? And why can't google just add new search engines when they become notable rather than only with a big update? Although this is the first time I've seen google update analytics since they acquired it.

    damn thats bad...
I wish they'd put the calandar on the front page and have it so a single click shows the data for that date. Also I can't see reports by the hour anymore :( like to know the peak times. Maybe its there somewhere.

I liked the old version better but have forced myself to use the new and, like MrStitch, I am getting used to it. It's growing on me.

I do like that you can drag and drop what you want, where you want. I don't believe you could do that with the old version.

prefer the old version, it lacked bells and whistles, but got the job done. The new one is all style and no substance. And I can not access the calendar without getting flash error message. Anyone solve this problem because i contacted google and just got form letter.

I haven't had that problem. Could it be a browser issue? I use Firefox mostly.
