Found this article on GoogleTV posted on Slashdot this morning. Imagine GoogleTV with ads served up depending on what your watching, your past search history, your email, pretty much anything that Google can track.
I don't think this will be a bad thing. The problem is that I can already hear people moaning about privacy concerns. It will just depend on how much you are willing to allow them to know in order to make your life easier. Take Amazon for example. The more you rate products, post reviews etc. the more accurate their recommendations gets. I would definitely not mind Google knowing enough about me to show me only things I'm interested in.
I have already posted this elsewhere - sorry I never seen this post. Found http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=google+current - this must be it?
Just another cutting edge idea for Google. They are sure making a bunch of old fat cat companies nervous. What's in the water out there in NCA?
