Nearly 100% of my revenues have been thru AdSense until this month. I started using Chitika eMinimalls (referrer id in link) on the 12th and it accounted for nearly 20% of my revenues for the month. I've tried almost every AdSense complimentary service out there and I've never been able to generate a couple dollars. eCPM were usually <0.1. Thanks Chitika!
Randy, I totally agree with you.. I threw chitika on one site and it has actually outperformed adsense on this site. Althought the CTR is very very very low, the cost I am earning per click equals between 3-7 clicks per adsense.. Although this would still make adsense outperform click wise,, on this site chitika wins revenue wise. Honestly, I think chitika and adsense is a great combination for extra revenue on the same site. It still boggles my mind reading these stories about how people just put the code up and start pulling in clicks. I've been trying different layouts and I'm getting very little results. There needs to be a service or something where people provide feedback on ad layouts...there probably is come to think of it. http://www.freneticphoto.com
I looked at your site and like the way you implemented the eMiniMalls. My CTR for Chikita is 25% that of adsense. About 21 clicks per 1000 unique visitors. This week Adsense and Chikita are roughly equal for total income. Also my clicks on Adsense seem to have remained the same. I guess the eMiniMalls attract a different type of shopper. illusionsetc.blogspot.com
I tested chitika on my blog www.gpsnews.org. My october revenue from chitika was about 40% of total revenue ! (60% from adsense). I tested many size and position and insert different keywords associations. My Chikita revenue per click was about 2x of adsense. Great ! Fabio
Chitika accounts for almost 75% of the revenue of my site. (http://www.usedmac.ca)I am running both Chitika and Adsense. CTR is about the same for both programs but revenue from Chitika is more than double that of Adsense.
