I am a bit ignorant and confused and don't know which one to go for.
What are the adavantages of disadvantages of each?
Help me choose please. Can i change my mind at a later stage if I am not happy?

well. The advantage is one is right and one is wrong. However, out of the one that is right, there are factions that are wrong.

The only way to measure it against is the written word.

Read the Bible and read whatever other books there are. Measure what is written to what is truth as far as history goes and as far as what God's people are like today.

If you can marry them up comfortably and truthfully, then you will know which is right out of the thousands of religions there are present today.

    Hope this helps.

    Col :)

72 virgins (or is it grapes?) vs. being one with God....hmmm...I'm going with God.

From what I understand, if you tell God "Screw you guys, I'm goin' home" (in your best cartman voice), you can change back and forth as often as you want. I'm not sure I'd say it to allah though. :p

What will people do in the christian heaven? It sounds like it is some kind of gated community but not a lot of activities that I know of...
I think that you can sit on a cloud and play a harp or you can praise God all day long. That would probably get tiring after awhile, what else is there to do in christian heaven?

I found it real interesting that you would be so bold as to say that .....

The real answer is, they are both wrong, concentrate on living your life, death is the end, there is nothing to think about.

Agreeed 100%. Like these discussions are just weak. If your a die hard of one you want one, if the other the other. Man they just keep going back and forth arguing over questionable literature that was produced more than 2000 years ago based on what the author's knew THEN. CUMMON PEOPLE!!!!

I would go for the six foot deep apartment in the ground. That way you don't hear the wife-beaters in the gated community...

If I go to my version of an afterlife - I would be most pleased. I subscribe to that if there is one, no one judges you. You end up going to a place your mind's cumulated feelings will take you. In mine I see fields, green brimming with the morning dew and a baby blue sky to greet me, a horse neighs softly off to the west as a slight breeze plays with my hair... then to the west is my giant mountain of chocolate, and next to it the cheese mountain. Yep...

I figure if you believe you could go to hell - you're probably going there in your own little afterlife when you die. Your imagination is the only limit on how bad or good it can be. I plan to have a smile at my wake - or not have one at all since I plan to use biological and technological advancements to extend my life as long as possible as dictator of earth. Cheerio.
