Niche Auctin Site for Sale! Dmoz listed $130 - $150 per month.

This is the last time this site is going to be available. www.holidaysauction.com has been online since 2005 and has been steadily increasing in popularity over the preceeding last 12 months. We put adsense on the site on February and have seen a steady income from adsense around $130 per month. This is the only revenue the site currently makes. If however you were to start charging customers to put their holiday homes up for auction this could be increased quite dramatically. Also their are sections on the site for flights, car hire, real estate etc so the expansion of this site including the revenue could be very profitable.

The site pays for no advertising all the visitors have been coming through the Search Engines mainly Google and also peple that bookmark the site. The site is highly listed on Google it is also listed in Dmoz and is getting more and more popular everyday. This is a unique opportunity to own a very niche auction site as there are not very many competitors in this area.

The site roughly gets about 150 uniques per day with about
Revenue Details:

Revenue is all from adsense at the moment. The new owner has the option to increase the revenue by charging customer for their listings on the site.
Traffic Details:

Traffic is all from the search engines mainly Google. There has been no advertising done on the site all traffic is from the natural listings on the seach engines.

Stats have been sent. The reason the site wasn't sold was because it never reached a realistic sell price. Current highest bid is $500. I mean this site is in the top 80,000 UK sites and is dmoz listed.

Other question, petehols: why site is completely empty? I can see only 4 listings.

The minimum price I will sell for is $1500.

The reason the site is empty is because quite a few listings have come off the site it usually takes people a few days to see the email that their listing has expired and to repost their advert.
