This is why I love the forums, because I can take the last information, I don't visit and I did not receive any email from Google to know about these news Thanks!
Ah, but does this mean we can now put more than 3 ads TOTAL on a page, or just that all three of them can be link units?
I always thought that 3 ads plus 1 link unit was excessive on most pages. It's only really justified if your content scrolls a long way down the page, IMO. I wonder why they want to do this? Perhaps it's a stop-gap since removing MFA publishers has left them without enough inventory?
MFAs are websites "Made For AdSense/Advertisements". Now, with the new policies, all MFAs will be banned completely. New policies are quite strict but the good news is that we can now put 3 link units on each pages. ;-)
Where have you heard that from? The only MFA websites being banned are those that are involved with adsense arbitrage (adwords some other advertising programs) MANY MFA's are still running and more are being made as we speak - that will never be touched.
Exactly, and the "new" policies only apply to landing pages being used in advertising. If you aren't advertising, it doesn't seem to apply. The guidelines referred to have always been there as recommendations, and the fact that they may be required now means nothing if they are not ENFORCED.
