Has anyone been suing WSN Links script? Please give me your experience with it. I'm just scouting looking for the best script to buy for myself WSN Links sound perfect since it can integrate with Joomla
I used it for a while, it was $75 a year or something to that effect and IMO not really worth it in contrast to paying for the phpld script. That said it is better than phpld with forum integration, and an insane amount of options and features. Most you'll never use. Good script, but I'd choose phpld unless you really needed the features. Also setup for paypal used to be cumbersome, that's officially why we dumped it but maybe that's changed.
I use it and it’s great, but if you want a normal directory PHPld is better. WSN as so many options it could be daunting for a non-technical person. Regarding the price, PHPld unbranded costs $75, WSN costs $100 (unbranded only option) and I am not counting the $10 extra for phpld forums support that are included on WSN, if you go for the 5 licenses pack the price goes to $250 / 5 licenses = $50 each which is much cheaper than $75 x 5 = $375. Support is normally only done by developer but it’s much better and fast than PHPld forums. IMHO this script is simple astonishing and after years seeing thousands of other php scripts I never found the same level of technical perfection and achievement, WSN is just light years away from PHPld and probably anything else, just not suited for non-technical people, also missing are free or custom made skins. You can look at it working here UK Business Directory.
Their are many great directory scripts around... 1. Phpld 2. syndicat 3. phplynx 4. index scripts No special order used just of the top of my head though i do confess that all mine are phpld thx malcolm
lol maybe both only j/k. i was at their website, the script looks awesome, just that not many templates available. Also it can integrate with Joomla
Just so you know http://2british.co.uk/guidelines.php does not work. And by the way i thought phpld had options to buy bulk license and get discount or was i dreaming ?
I used WSN links back in 2003 or something..... it was a pretty cool script. not sure whats up with it now.
