Creating a list of "Trusted DP Directory Owners".

I'm in the process of making a list of trusted DP directory owners in one of my websites for the visitors's use. While I respect Pete's hard work on his list of tursted directory owners on his directory, I thought I would go a little further than that.

I want my list to be more objectively agreed one rather than a list of my "personal favorite owners".


Name those directory owners (DP ID) who you can trust in doing businesses with.


1. Must be based on your own business experiences with the owners.

2. Don't name the owner just based on a "good deal". While sales are very important, "a low price offer" itself shouldn't be considered as a factor.


Anyone can name anybody as long as he/she owns a directory and a member of DP forum. I will keep the record of the names, those who you think you can trust with, then post the list here or on my web so everyone can see.

Selection:

5 approvals

Each nomiated directory owner has to be recognized as a trustworthy one by at least 5 other DP directory owners in order to be in the list.

3 disapprovals

On the other hand, if 3 people disagree or response negatively for a directory owner to be trustworthy, the owner will not be on my list.

Now, please keep in mind that when you object, you have to provide a "reasonable" reason that everyone can see your point. No emotional, negative personal response is needed here. This is strictly based on your business deals. If you are to cause a problem by disrespecting other directory owners, YOU can be in trouble

I never had a big problem with any DP directory owners among the ones that are "active" in this section of forum, so I am going to place as many names as possible, and most likely your name will be listed in an updated one. But meanwhile, please name those who you think you can trust, not listed above. Or post here if you think the owner is not trustworthy, including me ouch!

If you think those listed above deserve their recognitions, just simply post of your acknowledgement. Once 5 directory owners agree for those name, I will keep them. If 1 negative response arises, the owner would have to gain another "approval" from another directory owner to regain 5

 

Opps, I'm not on the list
Wonder what could happen to those 200+ directories I installed my mods if owners didn't trust me enough...
As far didn't destroy anything, always installed mods succesfully.
Seems it's not enough to be trusted.
Seems thousands of $ earned with my mods are not enough...
Who cares...

This area of DP is getting more and more like High School. Which click do you belong to? The QBC as an0n likes to say, the "Trusted Directory Owners" per this post, maybe we should also start a list of those banned from DP as well and then we can all have a party

yep! I agree "This area of DP is getting more and more like High School"..or should we call it pre-school/kindergarten? Guess it makes sense though...take a look at the thread going around with folks ages. I've got ass hair older than most of these folks. lol

Most times a person is apt to remember the people who screwed them over... not the people who did good by you. I currently have a list of 11 people I would never give my cash to again.

Maybe I should keep a list of the good ones as well

Agree with teamshop and wildweb.

Whilst there are dishonest directory owners out there who should be called out, this forum should be about business, and not about creating divisive groups.

Run your directories in an honest fashion and rise above the few who choose not to.
