Content Sensing Affiliate Programs

Discussion in 'Affiliate Programs' started by Ajeet, Sep 25, 2004.

Are there any affiliate programs (cpa) that automatically sense the contents of the page and display an appropriate offer. I am looking for a cj / linkshare kinda place, but one that automatically chooses what affiliate program is best for my page and displays it. As a second best choice, I would not mind coding in specific keywords for each page (akin to Amazon's keyword links). But, I want it to pull out the correct affiliate program intelligently and dynamically.

    Is there such a thing?
    Thanks

I think amazon's keyword links are the closest thing to what you are talking about. Next to that are the google adwords advertisements, and the like. Although not affiliate programs, these type of advertisement banners are the only thing I know of that automatically determines your keywords and inserts the appropriate ads.

You are onto a really good concept though. Hmmm. Dynamic merchant / product inserts with brains. Little work, easy money. If someone finds or creates it, I want in on it.

Actually, I just came across this new contextual ad service for CJ and Share A Sale members. It scans your website and determines the best keywords just like AdSense. Then it displays products from affiliate programs that you are affiliated with on your site. Instead of getting PPC you earn commissions on everything. Another cool feature is that it allows you to control the keywords if you are not happy with it's algorithm.

    The site is http://www.infograbber.net.

Notice that on this main page that it says:
    How Much Does It Cost?
    Absolutely nothing.
The Infograbber service is completely free. Each time an ad is displayed I put my own affiliate id into the first ad's url. This helps me pay to keep the service running.

They aren't hiding this fact, but just make sure you know this.
    Then decide. :)
