Ideas for free content management?

I'm really mostly a command line type of guy myself (ssh, ftp, you name it).
But I want to let a few of my friends have a little bit of space of my box and it would be a bit mean on them without some kind of content management / control panel / browser upload kind of deal.

So any ideas for a free one I can easily put up? All I really need is something that is password protected, has html editor (not wysiwyg) file managament and anything else is a bonus ontop of that. -- Rather than reinventing the wheel and writing a new one myself.

Server is on FreeBSD, running apache/perl/php/mysql so anything generic should fit.

I'd prefer if you personally recommend the package rather than just finding one because I asked, but those suggestions are welcomed anyway.

    Thanks in advance! :D

I didn't think cpanel was free? Got a link to show me where to download the package if it is?

Thanks flawebworks, looks like a nice package. Perhaps more than I wanted but I'll give it a spin :)

You can customize it down to the bare bones if you want for users.
