I might be scolded for being quick in interviews, but i did it! This is the 2nd. Interview from Directory Owners

Very nice interview indeed -although I didn't agree on one particular point that (Site Wide links harm PR- nobody knows how Google awards PR and Dave should not have such pre-conceived notions when I could give him good examples of directories with no Sitewide getting weakened and other directories with site-wides getting stronger)- But now I know how HUMBLE a human being David is He is right on my thinking that getting same PR as Aviva & Alive is still far away from them and it will still need few yuears to be compared with them. That is 100% of what I also think and appoaching with my directory.

Nice review sizzler your true talents are visable as well as Dave Es as an SEO
though i tend to agree with Jhnrang that sitewides aren't harmful an actually i see them
still being very helpful and i don't think google has implemented anything just yet let
along hurt a site because it offers it.
Dave has bought many Reviews from us for his customers and we appreciate
and will continue to support and help him in any way that we can as he showed hes
humble and also a generous man..

Jhnrang and malcomn, i dont want to disagree, but i would say what Dave said is also not wrong, as i have experience with that thing... Selling sitewides decreased quality of my previous directory!

Anyways cant argue much, as my other directory, in which i have sold a a couple of sitewides.. i haven't seen any bad effects in its rankings till now.

 

Hi Chetan--as you say one of your directory got effected and the other didn't --and that is my POINT. Nobody knows how G awards PR - so its inappropriate to say anything definitively.

Elegant Directory --was a PR6 directory with innerpages PR4 before last update. Now its still PR6 --but most of its innerpages have become PR5. And it always had many homepage OBLs

 

Yes i agree that theirs hardly any proof of such but google is always changing its algo so what you think is affecting this could be affecting that tomarrow kinda thing..
So who really knows ... just try to get to the top and stay thier and be happy

The site-wide thing might have been a bit of a gut reaction because I would be to paranoid to sell em on myne, I don't think they will affect a directories PR and I submit to quality directories with site-wides are not, Malcolm - Biz-King and Sleek are looking quality that new mod with the deep link descriptions and all of the little add on's make em stand out from the crowd, I gave em both a digg yesterday and will have more submissions soon.

 

And i definatly appreciate it that as im doing my best to get them both into PR6s this coming update so... but again very much appreciate that

I have exactly the same stance as you on sitewide links, but I do not submit to directories with too many sitewide links, unless the price is much lower.
I don't think that sitewides can affect directory PR, but I am pretty sure that they do affect PR juice that is passed to listed sites.
