Hehe. JK. But seriously, Google trends is finally up after being in maintenance mode for the last couple hours. I am pretty happy about the new design + easier showing of stats.

Even though they don't give exact numbers you can always add another search term to use as a baseline. You can use up to 4 terms at once separated by commas. Just add one where you have a good idea of the search volume for a site you run that has top rankings, or for a term you use Adwords on. Adwords will of course give you precise numbers if your ad consistently lands in top 10.
