Won $500 at Yahoo Mail

Just got this in my Yahoo Mail..





LOL, the scammers are getting smarter & smarter every day.

 

I think this is funny with this mails going around when i recive a new one that i don't know of i laugh

 

Did you get it in the bulk mailbox?

 

No, It was in my Inbox.. I dunno why Yahoo didn't catch it as Bulk mail.

 

Yeah they are very smarter and if anyone non DP members always click that link.

also if you reply to this email, the yahoo staff will get it! but then i think you should foreword to the yahoo staff anyhow!

 

I think the scammers don't want people to reply such emails, they just want us to click the link (I also noticed that the link which is showing in pic is actually another link if you hover your mouse on it).

Even I got an email like that few weeks back, only for larger amount lol.
Also I got an email from some "Queen of an African Region asking for money transfer !!" lmao

yeh i thought it was real as well, doesnt sound as obvious as other scams do lol

 

some times the mouse pointer hovering dosenot work, as there are codes to hide the link in the task bar, it may show yahoo.com in the task bar and take you straight to anyother site!

it is always adviced not to click on links from the emails!

I'm sure some people fell for it it's so easy to spot fakes! Just roll over the link and check to see if the domain is really from a yahoo.com or not

 

That's pretty smart I must admit lol. I always rollover the link like 8everything said to see if it's a fake or not.

 

I thought it was real too. I got it awhile ago. I clicked it and it did nothing though.

i received about 20 mail... dun trust it unless u wanna loss ur money.

 

You should forward that email to Yahoo, I bet they'd be interested in seeing that.
