Look at the footer...how long do you expect to stay in Google with all that keyword stuffing... many of these links are just point to your homepage.

I think there are some reasons...

keyword spam and duplicate content. I pick random text from your site

"Canon has launched the 8.0 megapixel Digital IXUS 950 IS, an upgrade to the award-winning Digital IXUS 800 IS. Sporting a three-tone metal finish with distinctive curved"

and put it to google... it seems to be not original content, so this is nothing surprisign, that your site is penalized. G. appreciate original content, so you should make it in some ways original.

Duplicate content never gets anyone banned else or article directories would have been dead by now.

I think the main reason was keyword stuffing...he has removed those now.

However it is never easy to get back into the Google index...especially for small sites.

You can only guess what is the main reason, and reasons can has different sources. Lack of original content is the main reason in my opinion.

Then can you explain why article directories are rarely banned?...There never have any original content.

Content syndication by RSS is used all over the net.

Maybe they have some, at least small amount of original content, not copied all over the net, and has some authority (because of age for example). If site is new, without any originality, stuffed with keywords like young pig and automaticly generated content , then Google knows what is the purpose of the site.

    It's a shame it's been banned, because it's a nice blog.

1st rule in online business - don't try and trick the search engines because they will only come back and make you pay.
