They are indexed normally as the other domain extension and ranked extremely well : http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1B2GGGL_enSG202SG202&q=pagerank+checker&btnG=Search
OK, thank you guys for your replies. I read it somewhere, but just needed to confirm if it is true or not. I have an idea for a new niche and .info domain would suit it well, as it will be an informative site.
By short-term registrations do you mean 1-year registrations? I always register my domains for 1 year only and I'll renew only if they're successful.
my domain is about to expire, 1 month left, I plan to renew it tomorrow, do u think that could have something to do with pr drop?
Do we as webmasters consent to the perception that cheaper domains=Less Quality? Also, .info domains tend to be the focus of those looking to make MFA sites and cheap proxies. SEO = same as ever Image among those in the SEO industry = Doubtful
Hmmm, if this is true, then why do I make $750 a month from my legitimate .info site with over 3000 uniques a day? http://downloads.littlbuger.info lol
It doesn't matter if what is the extension name of your site. Your site can be indexed by search engine if your site was easily find by search engine spider. Forum posting is the best way to get indexed quickly by search engine.
I think that having a domain thats registered for a long times goes a little towards domain trust..... While doing some recent email marketing I realized that registering my domain name for a longer period stop a large portion of my emails from being labeled spam....I am assuming that Google follows this to an extent...
