MSN/Live backlink check still not working!!!

Any ideas why Microsoft is doing this?

 

I am sure you already know the reason.

 

They disabled it permanently 'coz I have read an article that they are using MSN for Data mining.... to gather informations regarding that link: operator....

Silly, they still let you "data mine" your indexed pages.

 

My backlinkfinder.com doesn't work since MSN shut down the link: function.

I heard through the grapevine that you can implement the link: process from 2nd tier SE's that use MSN results. Just a rumor because I really don't care.
