My Yahoo Saga continues

So my site seems like it was banned because of previous ownership. Then the main page was showing up normally after I contacted yahoo. Then a week later it disappeared and I disappeared completely.

Then I sent another letter to Yahoo and around the same time I submitted a text sitemap to yahoo for my main pages. Now I have a handful of pages indexed in Yahoo that were never indexed before, and yahoo is reguarly crawling the site. (Main page is still not listed).

So right now, for anyone having issues with Yahoo indexing pages, I would pass on the good advice I got here and make sure you make use of the ability to submit a text sitemap to the google url submit. This definately seems to increase Yahoo's willingness to index pages. Going to try it out with a few other sites and see what happens as well.

Its always nice to hear stories of sites that were banned making it back in. Makes me think that the SE do read email and take action.

Yeah and now I have between 25-33 pages listed, which is great since I hadn't had more than the mainpage indexed for months and months.

I would definately suggest people use the text file sitemap for Yahoo if they are having problems with yahoo indexing pages.

Too bad this doesn't help those of us who have pages indexed but none of them rank in the SERPS.

Up to about 110 pages today.. Seems like I have been getting 20 or so added a day for the past few days.

A bit concerned because the main page has not been updated in over a week.. but it looks like slurp just hit it today.

Even though I can't prove it is responsible, again, I think anyone having problems with indexing in yahoo submit the text site map. I just did it for a few other sites and will be interested to see what happens.
