Adsense stats do not reflect actuals...

    Hi all,

The site www.whatweplay.be gets about 400 unique visitors per day.
However, Adsense shows only 40-50 impressions.

Surely 90% of visitors cannot have their adblockers on!?!?

Also, the visitors are real visitors (not bots). This has been verified.

What could be the reason for this?

    Best regards,

    Robby

I've got the same problem - I'd love to hear any suggestions as to why this might be...

i suggest using Google Analytics, this would be a more accurate measure than using raw logs.

Let me give you an example, awstats is saying 10k uniques/month while analytics says 4,500.

I agree with Pierce - try Analytics.
Since it uses the same type of JScript for tracking as Adsense, you wont get false hits from many bots and other things and such - results should be more accurate.

Yea analytics is a great tool, although some of the disrephrencies between unique visitors can be blamed on different definitions of "unique visitor" by different programs.

I think that you have right. I don't use Google Analytics, but I made think that I should use it. Maybe I'll try it. Google Analytics, is for free?

in my opinion Adsense is World's best pay per click program and their stats should be right i have the same situation adsense shows few hundred views lesser!

1 - you should try Google Analytics - http://google.com/analytics/ it will show your site stats!

2 - Place your ads on pages as many as possible!
