Feel free to use the same color as the site (or any color you see fit).

Some Details:

• Payment will be via PayPal
• All the images should have the same coloring etc.
• Avatar: Include url of site (May or may not work - depends on how it looks)
• Winner hands over all rights as well as all source files, fonts + PSD + GIF + PNG of each.

As questions arise I will be able to clarify what I want a little bit more.

N.B. I reserve the right not to choose submissions if they aren't what I'm looking for.

I like the layout of the first one .... just one comment: I'd probably change the text color to reflect the colors used on the site header i.e. white for 'Lord Bloggit' and blue for the motto.
Other than that they all look good. I'd still like to see what innovative ideas ppl will come up with before I make a final choice.

or if absolutely necessary Micro-Bar size (depends on detail/how it looks etc):

Banner seems to lose its edge ..... difficult to explain ... let me try this way. If I was talking about paper your banner would be 80 mgs in thickness but I'd be looking for 100 or 120 mgs .... make sense?
The bubble type font doesn't appeal to me .... and I don't think it works in the avatar either.

Yes .... I like it. The flashing text is a nice innovation and I love designs/designers who are innovative!

Keep the ideas coming.

A point you might all consider when designing the link image .. I will be placing this image on all my current and future sites (Lord Bloggit will be the mother site/base).

Both NippyZip and Adsense-Checker will have the link button added immediately as will the other sites I'm working on in due course.

N.B. I'll pay a bonus of $5 to the winning designer if he/she includes a 'Lord Bloggit' favicon!!

I'm unsure if I like it or not ... guess I liked the idea of the image of the knight somewhere on the images so all text is not getting my full vote. The 'click here' on an avatar .. might be a little over top but then again who can resist anything saying 'click me, click me' - natural urge is to click! As I said, no decision on avatar here - either negative or positive. Jury is still out!!

Link Button:
To be honest - none of the buttons would entice me to click on them. Although, I have to acknowledge that lack of image/button area means that design has to be confined. How would white text look on a blue background?
Not saying it will work but I guess the white/blue/black of the header image are probably your only color choices.

Would a rounded link button be out of the question? Are there any implications with having a rounded one?

At the moment:
designX's banner gets a thumbs up from me
andrej's avatar gets a thumbs up from me.

However, I shall be purchasing as a package - so that all the images will have the same design traits etc.

Yes .... you are getting there.

The avatar is much better .... just a question about the flashing text .... is it my imagination or are the 'd' and 'l' letters faded in comparison with the other letters?

Link Button:
Is better in black I think ..... the rounded edges helps it. I wonder if the link button might be better 88x31?

Regardless, I shall end this contest in 48 hours at the latest. I may end it sooner if I see a package I like.

To be fair to all who are entering the contest .... please do not PM me with your entries ..... I would appreciate entries being posted on this thread only.

No matter how good your entry is .... I'll ignore it if you PM it to me. I appreciate the work ppl put into their creations so it's only fair everybody has an equal platform for their work.

I see some more entries have been posted. Let me look at them and I'll post my thoughts shortly.
