adCenter Upgrade - Temporary Reporting Delay

Hi All

We are pleased to announce the arrival of adCenter 3.7.1. As communicated in advance of the upgrade, reporting will remain out of SLA until around Tuesday May 1st 2007 due to the massive amounts of data that we must process as a result of the upgrade.

Users ‘may’ see some partial data in our BI reporting for day, month, year when compared to hourly:

This is an expected side effect of the upgrade and catch up of data.

This is only affecting data after Friday the 27th of April. All data prior is complete for all grains – hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.

This is only temporary. We expect to catch up on the data end of day Tuesday 1st May 2007.

Users will likely see blanks or ‘-‘ in the Keyword Performance tab (under the Campaigns Tab) instead of the actual keyword data. We are working hard to investigate root cause. The good news – there is a work-around:

Simply run a Keyword Performance report in adCenter and you should get the data you are looking for.

We'll keep you informed as the progress of this post-upgrade data catch-up.

Please do let us know what you think of the new UI and features.

Cheers

Welcome to the board and Thanks for the update.

It looks better and faster (still slower to work with then the other 2).

Here is some feedback (constructive criticism):
1) The major missing feature is to have the option:
Show Performance data for: "Today".

2) Having to click the "edit bids" to change bids is really an extra step. Waste of time.

3) The campaign budget is not really practical max daily budget is more intuitive.

4) Being able to pause ads is a critical feature for improving ads. Currently no way to track older ads without deleting them.

5) Clicking our ad should open our ad in a new browser not replace adcenter.

6) Pause keywords would be a plus (not as important point 4).

7) Make screens more compact (ie more data in less space)

8) Become more tolerante with ads approval. Of the 3, adcenter refuses the most ads. Let the market decide if an ad is good or not. It's a major waste of time to move an "old profitable" campaign from Adwords to Adcenter only to have to rewrite some ads and redo the full cycle of ad improvement. Many probably use Adcenter less because of this...

Updated:
9) Also the timeout popup is a waste of time. Why not automatically bring us back to the login screen (without the pop-up)...with a message in red like 'Your session has expired please login again....".

Cheers,
Chris
