Proven SEO by the 9th Coolest Guy

He's a great marketer, but his seo advice is for children.

 

not much info on the site. It's far from an SEO article/advice to me.

 

sounds strang ..i guess all the DP members will atleast this much of basic knowledge before they participate here

 

i m agree with other guys, not more advance information.it might be useful for newbie.

 

I was never big in SEO and although I know some basics, now I feel like a fool posting this thread in front of you big guys

 

The site is actually for newbies, which is something I talk about on the site itself.

I'm trying to demystify SEO for people who think it takes genius and technical know-how to rank well for your search terms. I do not expect seasoned SEMs to find anything new on it.

In fact, that's kind of the whole point: there really isn't ANYTHING knew to learn about SEO. Just use the basics and stay focused on them and you'll succeed.

Jon Leger is definitely a good guy and his new Viral Profit Machine look pretty good as well.

I think when you judge the content of a site you need to keep in mind the intended audience.

There is somethign to learn here,

e.g how he got the 9 spot ranking with the small amount of backlinks he's got.

out of a million competiting pages.

if nothing else it shows newbies the power of keyword laden domain names and onpage seo

and No 1 in youtube.com

LOL temujin! Believe it or not, I had some initial reservations about trying to rank for the phrase, which is why the first paragraph on my site explains that I don't think I'm REALLY the coolest guy!

I have a few projects on the table that I'm working on right now, most involving AdSense or (real) traffic generation.
