    Hi

Im wondering what is better for my website, its going to have a bunch of info about different topics. I might even use it for adsense. What do you suggest?

    topic.mydomain.com

    or

    mydomain.com/topic/

Is it to spammy with a subdomain? Would google banned me for to many subdomains?

    Thanks in advance Guys.:)

some people told me using subdomains is a waste of time.

is it a waste of time if I did this?:

    redhats.mydomain.com
    redpants.mydomain.com
    airplains.mydomain.com
    bmx.mydomain.com
    deadgrass.mydomain.com

    is that considered spammy?

illbeatz ... IMO your subdomains are a little bit spammy

    Google loves friendly urls.

    You can try

    mydomain.com/redhats
    mydomain.com/redpants

    and so on.

    Good luck

Experiment. Try some subdomains on certain topics and subfolders on others. Let us know what you get.

Why nobody ask what is better for visitors?

Google may love certain content distribution for indexing purposes, but your visitors may feel deceived after visiting and find that you are designing for search engines, not for humans.
