Very interesting read, seems Google is now hitting the offline market...

Not only are they turning the internet into a monopoly, Google is starting to aquire offline companies...

They just paid like 1.3 BILLION!!! for some advertising company not long ago (bout a couple weeks)

Just thought you guys might like to know ;)

Nah it's like some radio company that owns 630 stations throughought the US I believe. I didn't actually read the article though I'm just basing this off what I remember reading the other day.

I don't think it is true.

Everything Google does these days is all over the news. Never heard of such thing.

    Peace,

URL please. It's hard to believe so otherwise. And I can only sort of see WHY they would buy a radio company.

P.S. If anyone is going to have a monopoly it should be Google! And it;s because they look after their users

i believe they are also moving into selling ad space on billboards - they will put up digital billboards that you can buy targetted local advertising on. and i think there is a newspaper ad deal going on as well.
