    Hi all.

I have some bad news for people who know me and who had some deals with me. So, here is the story..

Few weeks ago I got access to few sites, they was not mine, and in that same time I wanted to create my network of proxy sites. For hosting and domain registration I needed money, but I didnt have them, so I thought "why not to sell some links from that sites?". You probably know, that free money is not good, but in that time I didnt mind about that and I did a very big mistake in my life - I started to sell links from one of that sites. I sold links fastly. "Ohh free money.." thought I and sold all links from another sites.

After few weeks, I almost forgot for that links and deals, but owner of that sites saw what have I done and invited me into his office to spoke about that. He ask me why I did that, but I could not say of a word, I was very ashamed. And he told me, to correct this situation, I must to take off all links and send money back to owners of that links and tell them all situation. So, money that I didnt spend I will send back to owners of that links, another part of money will refund onwer of that sites, and I in the turn will return that money to him.

So, I got good lesson, that free money never will be good. Now I'm sitting and thinking "I am so fool.." I will never come back to this forum, when I look at IE window it make me sick..

Thats all. Please understand me and don't think about me bad, and sorry for my english word mistakes. PM me if got some questions to me. Thanks, bye all.

iNfans, everyone makes mistakes. What's important is that you correct and learn from your mistakes which you obviously have.

Don't let this get you down. You now know there is money to be made online from providing a good quality service. Now take what you've learned and earn some money for yourself.

    Good luck.

My name is Taras and I am the owner of intelex.ca Here is the rest of the story, so you do not have to guess. We are a web development company with the head office in Canada and the development center in Ukraine. User iNfans was working for Intelex for a few weeks. By working here he got ftp access to the sites. After awhile he got tempted and start selling links to the forum members. Those links were located on our clients sites. In a few days we noticed this activity and.... well I started thinking what I should do in this case. After a long consideration I decided that iNfans deserves punishment..but the punishment has to teach him a lesson, not just simpy punish him. My philisophy was simple... TWO WRONGS DO NOT DO WRIGHT. I could punish him and could punish him hard... will it do any good to me? -NO, will it do any good for the cheated users and link buyers? - also NO, will it do any good to INfans himself... maybe or maybe he will become just another angry kid. So, basically I decided to break this vicious circle and make it right. At this point, all the money that was paid for the links are returned to their owners (half of them from iNfans account and the remaining part from mine, however INfans brought all the money to me and I just used my account to compansate the users.)
Anyhow... maybe some of you will call me a naive person for doing it... I will disagree. I am confident that I did a right thing and if this sample can help break a few more vicious circles it will make me happy.
INfans is a good kid and he will succeed in life. I hope this will be his last big mistake.

I'm not so sure that iNfans has learned a lot from your lesson, Taras.
iNfans was illegally selling links from my site as well.

I really hope that he will return money to everybody he was stealing from.

    To Content-Master.
I just talked to him 24 hours ago and gave him 24 hours to gett he money. He brought me the money and I personaly disbursed through my Paypal account over $190 just 2 hours ago. The rest he was suppose to do himself and I tend to believe he did. That is all I can do on my part. In your case it is good that you brought this forward so other people know what is happening.

So he was just selling links on a site he didn't own? Of an employer's? Sketchy.

INTELEX (Taras): So far no money were returned to me, no message was received,

If i or anyone else will get his money back directly and not through PayPal complain, then i will accept the way you are approaching this issue, here in Forum.

I have learned from my mistakes that "a mistake becomes a lesson only if you pay for it". And i am not talking for money payment.
I dont know what kind of cost or lesson might be for iNfans to be banned from a Forum he used for a "one link stand". For me and for other people,a ban here could be "disaster" for web buisness. But is it for iNfans? Is this his lesson?

I don't think so. His lesson would be to face all of us who have been chated and apologise, to fix this situation with every single member here, and choose the hard way of trying to change his reputation and prove he can become a person you can rely on. Rest will be depended on persons in charge of this forum.

His apology is a good way to start. Next days will tell...
I am not going to try have my money back through PayPal.
I wouldn't choose this way to have it back and i really don't care for $30 but it's a matter of principle. I don't just need my money back. I need to see him returning cash or quality service and proove his apologies.

iNfans has to work hard, here or in INTELEX to change his own profile.

My lesson from all this situation is that i should never pay in advance for a simple link (not article, or directory submitions, or other service). A link which takes no more than couple of minutes for a seller to publish and he can easily remove it 5-10 minutes later, if he doesn't get paid. But if i pay in advance i cannot be protected in any way.

So people, consider this as a prompt to set this rule in link sales threads.
Publish and Pay is the propertly order for such a deals.

I just sent him an email to his gmail address demanding that he refund the money I sent him this morning. I'll let everyone know if he pays.

Not that it really matters now, but anyone who was scammed by this guy should also remember to go back and add negative itrader as well. I just did.

I'm another "victim", just learned about this thread (thanks Pepelux71). I did filed a claim in Paypal, I know $30 is not bankrupcy, but I started a few month ago with this and not making any money yet, so all the money I spend comes from my 'regular' job, so it belongs to my family. In any case, I'd spend that money to buy something for my daughters rather than for somebody else.

I'll happily decline my claim at paypal as soon as I get my money back (as I hope will happen).

    cheers
