I don't get it, how does it work? How do you make more just by seeing where people are clicking? Does it hint to where you should place your ads or what kind of ad you should add?
I have been using heatmaps for the last 6 months, and it has really helped me to optimize ad placements. I posted about this on DP too, http://www.labsmedia.com/clickheat/ is a free and open source one, although not user friendly, it does the job somewhat. You will require, PHP 5.0.2
G has a number of most useful online information to help optimizing adsense revenue - sometimes, specially for novice Google users it is hard to keep track of all the valuable info I put together once a list of most useful G links related to adsense G also publishes several heatmaps for various site types such as regular site, forums, blogs to show where to place the adsense units to get most clicks hence a heat map means the ads palced on the hottest spots are most likely to get clicked if visited by the right person potentially interested and provided the ad appeals to the visitor / potential buyer. looking since years at many sites from ppl searching help HERE in DP forum - it is apparent that most adsense users seldom or never study such most valuable G-info
