I am worried right now. 1 of my clients is now banned from DP and he made a big order. Now, I don't know what to do. Should I continue doing the articles or should I stop? How do I know why that person is banned? I need help. Anyone?
You should prob ask one of the admins why he was banned and explain the situation, I am sure they will understand
They'll not tell you why he was banned. Probably wracked up 10 infraction points so has a month in the cooler! Who is this member? Maybe we know the story (plus I'm nosey!)
Is it alright to reveal the name here? I don't want to get an infraction or anything. Anyway, it saddens me that this happened. He made a very big order and I was really happy... at least for a moment. *sigh*
...You're right - best not publish the name on here just incase. Check out his past posts and iTrader to see if there's anything suspicious - should point you in the right direction as to why he was banned.
I think you can reveal the name here and try if anyone here knows his contact details. IMO... Everyone will know that he's banned anyway. That's the only way you can contact him. --Joe
Umm, his name is anothername. he only have 1 itrader huhuhu did I make a terrible mistake entrusting this person? Though I haven't given him any of the articles yet but what am I gonna do with all of these now?
My suggestion is to post your contact information in this thread so that he may contact you about the order. You know he's reading the boards even though he is banned. I would be anyway.
Didn't you guys ever exchange e-mails ? No IM? Plus did he make part payment at the beginning ? If he did, use that email to contact him.
I know why he got banned - his most recent infraction was for running up post count: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=298153 It took him an entire month to start a thread saying hello. Cute.
He gave me his email address but haven't got a response from him at all. I really hope everything will be okay though. This is the first time this happened to me.
Oh, so you could get banned for that? Well, perhaps it was an honest mistake for him, right? So he wasn't banned for something "illegal" then?
If it really was a big order, try looking at the threads and posts he has made here. Find a site which belongs to him and use WHOIS to call him, if the need arises.
I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. I checked his posts and have not seen any negative posts from him. I'd wait for a couple of days perhaps to see what's the real score. Thank God I asked for his email address.... at least.
