Heads Up - Google Checkout UK rummoured to be live today.

I heard from a friend who heard from his uncle who heard from the guy down the petrol station that just maybe prehaps later today Google might be going live with Google Checkout UK.

Not that I'm pimping myself or my company but we've already developed gateways for checkout in the US so anyone gets stuck drop us a line.

Quite a few now seems like most of the EU and in fact to be fair most of the world managed to get the country codes for you.

Google Checkout merchants must have a U.S. bank account and address, plus either of the following:

A Social Security number and a valid credit card.
A Federal Tax ID/Employer Identification Number (EIN).

So it's only for US Merchants

Google Checkout officially went live in the UK at 9am this morning.
