Alright, I don't really use Adwords much because it's been poor ROI for my field. Here's an idea I had for those who like to find high-traffic and low competition keywords 1. Go to adbrite 2. Find the high-traffic sites 3. Visit them and look for the Extreme tracking thing (the purple planet) on their home page 4. Look up their search string referrers 5. Do a check on them, see if a significant number are for the domain name spelled with spaces in between for example 6. Check to see how many advertisers for that name on Google 7. Try placing bids there I found a site where the adbrite ads were about $250 a DAY, millions of visitors a month, but not a single Adwords advertiser on their domain name which is what 6% of their search engine visitors were coming from! I dunno how the new quality minimum bid scam would affect this technique though. Feel free to green rep
Are there so many accessing the AdBrite site that it is down? I'm having a hard time getting the site to load...
It's a good idea but know that AdBrite stats are often said to be inaccurate. Your idea still works, but the traffic numbers may be a little lower than advertised.
Interesting tip... was looking for the planed thingy and didn't see any site with it. Am I missing something?
