Is it Better to have many small web sites or one big web site ? And where should i go to build my web site ? Thank you
Well, it's a little hard to have "one big web site" until you've started with "many small web sites" i.e. it ain't gonna be big in one day. It'll start small and then you'll build it up. Now, rather you have time to do a lot of mini-sites, or just want to concentrate on one site, that's up to you and how much time you have to spare. Most people have a ton of mini sites that makes them money when added up, and others run one main site and many small sites. There's no right or wrong way -- it's entirely up to you to see what works best for you. Either/or. P.S. It's idiotic to start every one of your threads with the word "beginner". You may want to be more descriptive.
u cant make a big website untill you already have millions of dollars to invest. start few small sites, concentrate on them groom them one by one or two by two as the matter of fact. and one fine day you see them growing big. thats how I work.
As a beginner, I think you should go for 1 or maybe 2 small websites. Then, concentrate on THEM! You will need lots of time to optimise one site.
I would rather have 50 Shacks bringing in small money every month, than one mansion bringing in a large amount every month. Spreads the risk ya know?
My preference is for many small sites rather than one or a few large ones. I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket. My largest site once received 20000 uniques a day, almost all from Google. One day Googles algo changed and the traffic fell to around ~2500 a day. If I didn't have lots of smaller sites also contributing to my monthly payment, I'd have been ruined .
Yes but one big site can bring in millions if it gets really big. What the heck happened with Myspace? It's so poorly designed... I guess it was just word of mouth.
